    The vineyards are all influenced by cooler microclimates, as they are located in Egelsee, Riede Holzgasse and Riede Kerschbaum in Krems. In the Riede Satzn in Egelsee, crystalline granulite weathering soil is shallowly overlaid with sandy elements. The location Holzgasse & Kerschbau is located under the high plateau of Krems, which stretches between Gneixendorf and Senftenberg. In the Riede Kerschbaum and Holzgasse, not only Grüner Veltliner grows on the sandy-loamy soil, but also our Zweigelt. The good nutrient availability and water storage capacity of the soil gives it an elegant fruit and a charming character.
