As a long-standing and loyal customer of the winery Rainer Wess, I discovered my favourite wine very early on – Krems Riesling.
I am eager to follow the development of this wine from year to year and am always pleased with the new notes. Perfect for any occasion, regardless of the season!

    Kremsleithen & Braunsdorfer

    On the foot of the south facing terrasse vineyard Kremsleithen the small river “Krems” passes by down the kremstal valley. The soil is very stony and massive rock formations could be seen easily. The material of the soil is Gneis and Glimmerschiefer which is the reason why mainly Riesling is planted in this part of the vineyard Kremsleithen.
    The vineyard Braunsdorfer is right behind the vineyard Steiner Hund. This vineyard is even slightly higher and moreover cooler. Steep stone terrasses which a high slate and schist contend do create very elegant wines.
