The stony terraces of the Loibnerberg, originated in the 14 th century, reach a height
of 420 meters. The terroir is characterised by weathered earth over gneiss of Gföhl
with some loess or clay layering as well as a strong influence of the Pannonic climate.
On the slopes to the extreme south, Grüner Veltliner and Rieslings grow in perfect harmony.
